Cookies and analytics

Your choice
Optional website analytics is disabled until you allow it. Rejecting it does not affect the website. You can change or withdraw your choice here or through “Privacy choices” in the footer. Withdrawing reloads the page to stop the loaded analytics script.
What we store in your browser
The host-only cookie ms_web_analytics_v1 stores only “allowed” or “denied” for six months. It contains no user identifier and is not shared with the companion portal. Language preferences are stored locally. Administrative sign-in uses Firebase Authentication and its browser storage.
Public website analytics
After consent, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits and performance on public pages. According to Cloudflare, it uses no analytics cookies, local-storage identifiers or fingerprints. Technical requests go to Cloudflare. Administrative pages, account deletion and URLs with query strings or fragments do not load the analytics script. We use no advertising tracking or session recordings.
Cloudflare Web Analytics informationPrivate companion portal
The portal loads no third-party analytics script. Cloudflare may count HTTP requests, data transfer and technical failures as part of delivering the site. These figures do not represent individual interactions in the portal. Decrypted journals, moods, sleep data, messages and encryption keys are not sent to an analytics service. Portal sign-in stays in memory; the encrypted device bundle stays in session storage, and the display theme is stored locally.
Hosting and external resources
The website and portal are hosted at OVHcloud in Frankfurt, with Cloudflare handling DNS and delivery. Technical connection data, including IP addresses, is processed for delivery and security. Fonts are served directly by the public website without a connection to Google Fonts. The private API and encrypted objects remain at Hetzner. See the privacy policy for further information.
