Terms of Use
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms of use govern your use of the Nafuu app and the website nafuu.app. Please read them carefully. By registering or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Provider
The provider is Simon Hediger, Hohlenweg 41, 5072 Oeschgen, Schweiz ("we"). Contact: [email protected].
2. What Nafuu offers
Nafuu offers guided meditations, breathing exercises, yoga nidra, affirmations and quotes as well as personal tools such as a diary, mood and task tracking and self-tests. An optional, anonymous community complements this. The core features are free and may contain advertising. If Premium is available in your store version, you may purchase an optional subscription for ad-free use and contents marked as Premium. Available offers, price, duration and automatic renewal are shown in the store purchase dialog before purchase. You are charged only after explicitly confirming a purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in the relevant store; deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.
3. Account
- You provide correct and current information for your account.
- You keep your password secret and are responsible for everything that happens through your account. If you suspect misuse, change your password and tell us.
- The community is available from age 16 and requires a truthful age declaration and separate valid consent. Other app areas remain available under 16; private companionship and available backups have their separate requirements.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Data & Privacy → Delete account). We may suspend or delete accounts if someone violates these terms (see section 5).
4. Not a substitute for professional help
Nafuu is not a medical device and does not replace advice, diagnosis or treatment by professionals. Content and self-tests serve information and orientation; a test result is not a diagnosis. Do not delay or replace medical or therapeutic help because of content in the app.
In acute danger, call the emergency number (Switzerland 144, EU 112). In Switzerland you can reach Die Dargebotene Hand around the clock on 143, in Germany the TelefonSeelsorge on 0800 111 0 111 or 116 123, and in Austria on 142. The app lists more numbers.
5. Community
Rules
- Be kind and supportive.
- Do not share personal data: no names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses, no links and no invitations to contact you outside the community. This applies to your own data as well as to other people's.
- Do not give advice on medication and do not diagnose others.
- No insults, devaluation, harassment, hate speech, threats or pressure. No encouragement, instructions or reinforcement of self-harm, suicide or disordered eating.
- No advertising, no spam and no unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others.
We do not tolerate objectionable content or abuse. Violations lead to content being hidden, to warnings and, if repeated, to suspensions.
Your content
You are responsible for your posts and replies and confirm that they do not infringe the rights of others. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to store, display and review your content in the community. This right ends when you delete the content or your account. Posts appear anonymously to others.
Review, warnings and appeals
Posts and replies are reviewed automatically (filters and an AI-assisted assessment), again when reported, and administrators can view content. A confirmed violation leads to a warning; after three warnings, community actions are suspended, while reading and appeals remain possible. You can appeal warnings and suspensions in the app; a person reviews the appeal. Technical failures of the review never lead to warnings. Details on data processing are in the privacy policy.
Reporting
You can report content through the menu of a post or reply (spam, hurtful, other rule violations). If a person seems to be in crisis, you can also trigger a private offer of support for them through the menu. For questions or complaints, contact us at [email protected].
6. Nafuu content and permitted use
The content of the app and the website (audio, text, images, design, name and logo) belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.
It is not permitted to systematically download or scrape content, to copy, pass on, make it publicly available or use it commercially, to circumvent protection measures of the app, or to use the name and logo without our written consent.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We strive for trouble-free operation but cannot guarantee availability, for example because of maintenance or outages. We may change, restrict or discontinue features. We will tell you in the app about material restrictions.
8. Liability
We are liable for damages only in cases of intent and gross negligence, as far as the law permits. Liability for slight negligence is excluded where permitted, except for injury to life, body or health and where liability is mandatory by law. We give no warranty for content of other members or for the success of any use. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example for new features or changed legal requirements. We will announce material changes in the app or on the website. If you keep using the service after they take effect, this counts as acceptance, unless the law requires your explicit consent. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. Mandatory protections and statutory jurisdictions, particularly those protecting consumers in their place of residence, remain unaffected. If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
11. Contact
